Professional Experience:
Experienced executive with over 25 years in engineering, sales and marketing roles. Extensive history of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), scaling organizations, building strategic partnerships, and accelerating growth in start-up and mid-cap firms. International experience includes building large-scale operations in China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Europe and the Americas. 

Currently an advisor for CNEX Labs, a startup developing enterprise storage solutions.  Previously held an advisory role with Eonsil, a start-up developing solid state drive flash controllers. Thought leader in the market development and transition from hard disk drives to NAND flash memory in personal computers and enterprise storage applications.  

Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Synaptics, a global leader in human interface techologies; Vice President of Sales for Authentec, a leading supplier in mobile and network security solutions (later acquired by Apple); Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Alereon, a wireless USB startup technology company; Vice President of Sales and Marketing for SanDisk’s OEM Consumer Products Division; General Manager Americas and VP Worldwide Sales for M-Systems, the industry leader for embedded NAND Flash Technology which was acquired by SanDisk.

Scott lives in Pleasanton with his wife Nicholette and 3 children, Gavin, Annalise and Piper.
